Hi, I’m Kristine, and I’m so glad you’re here.
Long before Eudaimonia Counseling and Wellness ever came into being, I was helping people. That has been part of my life’s purpose for as long as I can remember. I know firsthand how trauma can shape the way we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. I’ve walked my own healing path, and it’s that journey—along with years of professional experience—that fuels my passion for guiding others toward their own peace, self-acceptance, and a life they truly love.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with individuals and couples who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. That can be a lonely and scary place - and often, it's difficult to figure out exactly how it happened. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, past trauma, or relationship challenges, I’m here to help you navigate the difficult emotions which go hand in hand with self-worth and self-esteem, break unhelpful patterns, and build a life filled with joy, purpose, and emotional freedom. Together, we’ll identify what’s within your control, set healthy boundaries, reprocess painful experiences, and develop coping strategies that truly work.
Before stepping into the world of therapy, I had a career rooted in service and resilience. I’ve worked in law enforcement, spent time in a mental health role in a jail setting, supported others as a domestic violence advocate, and worked with men and women struggling with mental health and legal issues in community mental health. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of how trauma affects every aspect of life—and just how strong the human spirit can be.
Through my work, I’ve seen people at their most vulnerable, but I’ve also seen incredible transformation. That’s why I believe so deeply in the power of healing. No matter how hopeless things may feel right now, change is possible. You don’t have to carry the weight of your past alone.
One of my favorite quotes from Brené Brown says, “What we don’t need in the midst of struggle is shame for being human.” So many of us have been conditioned to believe that we have to fix ourselves before we deserve love, peace, or connection. But the truth is, “You are imperfect, you are wired for struggle, but you are worthy of love and belonging.” Healing isn’t about striving to be perfect—it’s about embracing yourself fully, knowing that you are enough just as you are. My goal is to help you break free from shame, reconnect with your true self, and build a life where you feel seen, valued, and whole.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll probably find me gardening, cooking, crocheting, hiking, or kayaking—all things that help me stay connected to myself and the world around me. I have two amazing grown children and share my home with my three beloved dogs, who bring plenty of joy (and a little chaos!) into my life.
I’m an active member of the Texas Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and am passionate about supporting the Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT®) community. I believe in lifelong learning, and I’m always seeking new ways to help my clients heal in deep and meaningful ways.
If you’re feeling lost, overwhelmed, or unsure where to turn next, I want you to know—you’re not alone. Healing is possible, and you deserve support from someone who truly sees you.
I’d love to walk alongside you on your journey. Let’s take the first step together.
